Robex Resources Inc.: Drilling Campaign in the Extension South of Nampala Completed

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 5, 2012) - Robex Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RBX)(FRANKFURT:RB4) is pleased to confirm that the drilling campaign in the extension south of the Nampala deposit on the Mininko permit, announced in the press release of December 7, 2011, has been completed. Robex is currently awaiting the latest analysis results for the 35 boreholes and in the coming weeks expects to publish a new resource calculation that includes these results.

In addition, a new drilling campaign east of the Mininko permit has just begun. The zone, which consists of 11 profiles over an area 150 metres wide and 1,500 metres in length, runs parallel to the Nampala deposit 350 metres to the west. The campaign will include 30 surveys, the results of which will be added to those obtained during the 2005 campaign, whose results (shown below) had not been included in the earlier resource calculation.

"The new drilling is intended to increase the resource in the oxidized zone, which will enable Robex to extend the life of the mine or augment its annual production capacity," explained André Gagné, President and CEO of Robex.

The 2005 drilling campaign revealed the following grades:

Work underway

Robex is currently establishing the precise topography of the eastern and southern zones of the permit (see map: http://www.robexgold.com/fr/pdf/carte_nampalaest_2012-03-05.jpeg) as well as of the area where the plant will be located. Work is also underway on the tailings pond and the detailed engineering of the buildings (administrative offices, garage, warehouse, dry house, etc.) to ensure these infrastructures are in place prior to the upcoming rainy season. The 2.4 kilometre road linking the village of Nampala to the Robex mine is also under construction and will enable Robex to officially inaugurate the work in mid-March, an event that will be attended by Malian dignitaries, who will take part in the honorary ground breaking ceremony.
