NEW YORK, March 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that Wendy Li has joined Private Client Services as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager in New York City. She will be part of an expanded private banking focus in New York.
Li will serve high-net-worth families, individuals, entrepreneurs, hedge fund and private equity professionals and professional service firms in New York to ensure that clients can take advantage of all the capabilities of City National, including credit, private wealth management, treasury and cash management, foreign exchange, and trust solutions. She will report to Robin Balding, manager for Private Client Services in New York.

Prior to joining City National, Li spent more than a decade with JP Morgan, most recently as a senior private banker. She was also an institutional sales marketer in the Global Credit Derivatives Group at JP Morgan's investment bank. Li earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting at Hunter College CUNY, and received her MBA in finance and international business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
