Beate Uhse AG applies for transfer from Prime Standard to General Standard
segment

Flensburg, Germany, 7.3.2012. The shares of Beate Uhse AG, Flensburg, (ISIN
DE0007551400 / SIN 755 140) are currently approved for trading in the
Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and are also approved for
the segment of the Regulated Market with additional post-admission
obligations (Prime Standard). The Management Board and Supervisory Board of
Beate Uhse AG today agreed to transfer its stock exchange listing from the
Prime Standard to the General Standard segment of the Regulated Market of
the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The company will therefore submit an application for the revocation of the
admission of its shares to the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange. The revocation of admission shall apply subsequent to a
period of three months following the online publication of the revocation
decision of the stock exchange management (www.deutsche-boerse.com). This
revocation shall not affect the admission of Beate Uhse AG shares to the
Regulated Market.

The purpose of this stock exchange segment transfer is to reduce the
additional requirements entailed by inclusion in the Prime Standard
segment.
