Proflex Products Inc. Receives Support from Government of Canada for Productivity Enhancement

DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 21, 2012) - Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, Jacques Gourde, Member of Parliament for Lotbinière-Chutes-de-la-Chaudière, today announced that Proflex Products Inc. has been granted financial assistance from the Government of Canada to optimize its manufacturing operations, increase its productivity and pursue its growth.

Founded in 1995, Proflex Products Inc. specializes in the manufacture of plastic parts for the transportation, defence and health sectors. Through its innovative manufacturing processes, the company has developed leading expertise in the vacuum moulding, compression moulding and tooling of various types of plastic materials. This export firm is recognized for the quality and exclusivity of its polycarbonate hood deflectors for cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles.

Proflex Products intends to use this financial assistance to optimize its manufacturing operations, notably by acquiring a three-axis digitally-controlled machining centre and a portable measuring and scanning system and by setting up a custom paint booth. The company will thus be better equipped to meet market demands in terms of volume, quality and delivery turnaround.
