Company announcement no 3 2012/13 Copenhagen 28 March 2012 Investment commitment to Norvestor VI Scandinavian Private Equity A/S (SPEAS) has made an investment commitment of NOK 80m to the private equity fund Norvestor VI. Norvestor is a Norwegian private equity company with a single office in Oslo. Since 1993 Norvestor has invested approximately NOK 3 billion in 46 companies, of which 36 companies have been exited. Norvestor VI's investments will - in line with the previous Norvestor funds - focus on controlling interests in small and medium-sized companies with a significant potential for growth. Typically, Norvestor will invest in the range of NOK 100m-500m in each company, and geographically the fund will focus mainly on Norway. Including Norvestor VI, SPEAS has made investment commitments to nine selected private equity funds, which SPEAS considers to be among the top funds within their segments: EQT V, EQT VI, IK 2007, IK VII, Apax Europe VII, Litorina III, Litorina IV, Herkules III, and Norvestor VI. SPEAS's uncalled investment commitments to private equity funds total DKK 444m (based on the latest interim report), which the funds may invest in new companies over the next years. Investments in private equity funds including the uncalled investment commitments total DKK 1,175m, equal to 127% of equity, which stood at DKK 922m at 31 October 2011.
