OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 24, 2012) - On Saturday, April 28 Canadians will observe a National Day of Mourning in memory of workers killed or injured on the job. Canadian Labour Congress Secretary-Treasurer Hassan Yussuff will attend a locally organized event in Ottawa. Yussuff will be available to the media.
In 2010, a total of 1014 Canadians lost their lives as a direct result of their work, 385 of them in Ontario.
