(NASDAQ:NAVG) today announced that its principal underwriting agency subsidiary, Navigators Management Company, Inc., has appointed Steven R. Kuuskvere as Northeast Regional Vice President. Mr. Kuuskvere is located in Navigators' New York City office where he will be responsible for leading the Company's insurance operations in that region.

Mr. Kuuskvere has 22 years of underwriting and claims experience and was most recently Senior Vice President of Navigators Pro where he has been with the Company since 2001. The Northeast region for which he will have responsibility includes the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Northern New Jersey, Rhode Island and Vermont.
