Green Ballast, Inc. Exhibiting at Con Edison's Energy Summit

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Ballast, Inc. (OTCBB:GBLL) will be participating in the Con Edison Energy Efficiency Summit 2012 taking place in New York City at the Hilton New York on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. This day long trade show and conference showcases the latest technologies, innovations and services available to the commercial and industrial lighting industry.

Green Ballast will be exhibiting its daylight harvesting ballast, which is a simple, self-contained, plug and play ballast for fluorescent lights. Kevin Adams, Green Ballast's CEO, said, "We're excited to have the opportunity to further demonstrate the simplicity and effectiveness of our energy efficient ballast at this industry leading conference."  Adams further added, "Interestingly, depending on how the ballast is being used, there are many possible instances where with Con Edison's rebate the cost of the ballast could be close to zero – meaning a one-day payback period. In previous deployments or tests, our ballast has reduced electricity usage up to approximately seventy percent."

Green Ballast executives will be available and demonstrating the company's technology from 10:00am -4:00pm in Americas Hall 2, Booth 247.
