Premier Data Integration Conference to Showcase New Technology and Best Practices Designed to Help Organizations Maximize Return on Big Data


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, today announced that its annual user conference, Informatica World 2012, will feature a megatrend industry executive panel on cloud, social, mobile and big data moderated by Constellation Research principal analyst and CEO, Ray Wang. The panel will take place on May 15, 2012. Informatica World 2012 will be held May 15-18, 2012 at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

This will be the twelfth time that Informatica has hosted the premier data integration industry event, which will spotlight innovations in Informatica's next platform release, Informatica 9.5, as well as tips, tricks and best practices for using the Informatica Platform to maximize return on big data.

Informatica World 2012 is expected to be the biggest Informatica World to date. Customers, partners and integration experts will converge from around the world to discuss how Informatica products, education and services enable success in traditional Enterprise Data Integration and beyond, including  Master Data Management (MDM), Application Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), Cloud Data Integration, Data Quality, B2B Data Exchange, Complex Event Processing and Messaging.

Keynote Sessions

Informatica World 2012 will feature special keynote presentations from Informatica chairman and CEO, Sohaib Abbasi, and New York Mets vice president of Player Development and Scouting, entrepreneur and subject of New York Times best-seller Moneyball, Paul DePodesta.
