Bar & Club Stats Selected to Present at TechCrunch Disrupt NYC

NEW YORK, May 14, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bar & Club Stats (BCS), the leading mobile age and identity verification system, has been selected to present at TechCrunch Disrupt NYC on May 21-23, 2012.

BCS provides real-time demographics about bars, nightclubs, arenas and events using a custom iPod or iPhone ID scanner. The company's mission is to ensure the responsible service of alcohol while enabling venues to become smarter about their customers, marketers about targeting demographics, and patrons about where to spend their time.

After a doorman, hostess or bartender scans a patron's ID, anonymous information is sent to BCS' database where it is analyzed, aggregated and provided back to the venue, marketers and patrons.

Launched in November 2011 and based in New York City, BCS has been featured in Nightclub & Bar Magazine, the Huffington Post, CNBC and USA Today. The company's app will be available on iTunes in the near future.
