The BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc., New York, USA, has informed us on
May 15, 2012, in accordance with section 21 para.1 WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act) that its share in the voting rights of SÜSS MicroTec AG,
Garching, Germany, exeeded the 3% threshold on May 9, 2012 and now amounts
to 3.02% (Amount of Shares: 577,168). 3.02% of the voting rights (577,168
voting rights) are attributed to it in accordance with section 22 para. 1
sentence 1 no. 6 of the WpHG in connection with section 22 para. 1 sentence
2 of the WpHG.
