The BlackRock International Holdings, Inc., New York, USA, has informed us
on May 15, 2012, in ac-cordance with section 21 para.1 WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act) that its share in the voting rights of SÜSS
MicroTec AG, Garching, Germany, exeeded the 3% threshold on May 9, 2012 and
now amounts to 3.02% (Amount of Shares: 577,168). 3.02% of the voting
rights (577,168 voting rights) are attributed to it in accordance with
section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 of the WpHG in connection with section
22 para. 1 sentence 2 of the WpHG.
