Verdi Green Lights His Next Production, 'Self Storage'; Attaches Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's, Inkubus) and Tom DeNucci, (Inkubus, Infected, Loosies) to Act and Direct

EAST GREENWICH, RI--(Marketwire - May 22, 2012) - The Woodhaven Production Company proudly announces that their feature film 'Inkubus' will expand its VOD release to over 100 million homes just as the company goes into pre-production on its next horror film, 'Self Storage.'

"Inkubus is selling extremely well," Verdi stated. "We've reached huge numbers in viewership and sales, and we're all very proud of the film's performance. Inkubus is just beginning for Woodhaven. We'll be following up with our second horror film, 'Infected,' starring William Forsythe and Michael Madsen (Kill Bill I and II, Reservoir Dogs, Loosies) who battle zombies to the death." The film is currently in the final stages of post and is set for release on Halloween 2012.

Filming on Self Storage will start in July and will take place in East Greenwich, RI. Self Storage tells the story of Jake, the night watchman working at a highly-secured self storage facility. His pals are home from college and looking to party. Jake decides to invite them to work, to throw a fiesta of his own. Innocent mischief turns a naughty night of sex, drugs and rock & roll into an evening of pure terror. Barbed wire fences are meant to keep people OUT. But these fences keep people IN...

Inkubus, Verdi's slasher flick starring horror icon Robert Englund (the original Freddy Krueger), premiered in theaters last Halloween to sell-out crowds. DVDs hit stores nationwide February 21st. The film has now sold more than 100 thousand units through outlets like Wal-Mart, RedBox and Amazon.

Inkubus, which stars Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), William Forsythe (Halloween, The Devil's Rejects, HBO's Boardwalk Empire), Joey Fatone (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's) and Michelle Ray Smith (Salt) as well as Rhode Island natives Tom DeNucci, Tom Paolino and Sera Verdi, tells the story of a satanic demon that terrorizes the police crew working the final shift at an abandoned Rhode Island police station. The night takes a gruesome turn when the cops quickly become pawns in the demon's brutal crowning achievement of murder, gore, and mayhem. In the end, it is clear: it's Inkubus' world... they only die in it.

The Woodhaven Production Company's third horror film, 'Self Storage' is now in pre-production with filming to begin in July. The film will be produced by Verdi, Gino Pereira and Tom DeNucci, with DeNucci directing and Michelle Verdi handling the music supervision.

Verdi concluded, "We have now attached Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's, Inkubus) to the cast with our main lead to be signed very shortly. I am very excited to be working with Jonathan again. He's a real pro."

The Woodhaven Production Company, a subsidiary of Verdi Productions, is a fully funded film production company, covering all aspects of filmmaking from conception of script through postproduction.
