Right issue in vestjyskBANK fully subscribed
On 26 April 2012, vestjyskBANK published a prospectus in connection with the offer of minimum 24,038,462 and maximum 30,644,439 new shares with pre-emptive subscription rights for existing shareholders of the bank, see company announcement dated 26 April 2012.
The subscription period for the offered shares has expired, and the bank has concluded that the rights issue is fully subscribed. A total number of shares exceeding the maximum of 30,644,439 shares has been subscribed for by exercise of pre-emptive subscription rights or pursuant to binding undertakings to subscribe for remaining shares. The aggregate gross proceeds amount to DKK 318.7 million.
Investors having submitted binding undertakings to subscribe for remaining shares have been allocated an amount of shares corresponding to approximately 20.77% of the orders submitted (rounded down to nearest whole amount of shares). A total of 205,145 new shares have been subscribed for pursuant to binding undertakings to subscribe for remaining shares.
The Danish State has subscribed for a total of 16,008,714 new shares or 52.2% of the offer, corresponding to the Danish State's ownership stake prior to the offer.
The rights issue will be completed when payment for the new shares has been completed, and the offered shares are registered with the Danish Business Authority, expectedly on 29 May 2012.
As soon as possible thereafter, the offered shares will be admitted to trading and official listing on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen A/S under the ISIN code of the bank’s existing shares (DK0010304500), expectedly on 30 May 2012.
