Amika Mobile CEO Receives Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal

Amika Mobile CEO Dr. Suhayya (Sue) Abu-Hakima was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal at a ceremony followed by the Jubilee gala at the Roy Thomson Hall on June 18, 2012. The ceremony was overseen by the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and the Honourable Governor General of Canada David Johnson. A number of distinguished Canadians were called upon to present the medals, including the Honourable Henry N.R. Jackman, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, shown in the photo with Amika Mobile's CEO.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal recognizes service to Ontario and Canada in honour of the Queen's Jubilee, per his Honour David C. Onley's invitation to recipients of the Order of Ontario to: "receive the Diamond Jubilee Medal for significant achievement and remarkable service."
