IT – INET – Native FIX protocol updates (57/12)

NASDAQ OMX would like to make all FIX users aware on the following set of Native FIX protocol clarifications.

The Native FIX Drop – OUCH specification gets a new future version (1.02), effective 2012-10-22. From this date OUCH reject messages will not be relayed over the associated drop.

An additional four modified protocol versions are also introduced:

  1. Corrections to production versions, aligning the specification to the software:
    • Native FIX Order Entry Drop Copy 1.02.
    • Native FIX Tradereporting 1.03.
  2. Future versions, supporting extensions to Norwegian routing, valid from 2012-09-17:
    • Native FIX Order Entry 1.04. Update (replaces 1.03)
    • Native FIX Order Entry Drop Copy 1.03. New

We do not expect any FIX users to perform any changes due to these protocol updates, unless you are to take on the new routing strategy “PDLE” to Oslo Børs.
