SEA GIRT, NJ--(Marketwire - Jul 17, 2012) - The New Jersey Monthly magazine has unveiled its 2012 list of Top Dentists from across the state. Once again, Dr. Patrick T. Cuozzo has been selected by his peers to join the list as one of the premier orthodontic specialists in New Jersey. Based off a statewide dentist survey and professional advisory board review, only 364 out of more than 6,000 eligible dentists were chosen. Dr. Cuozzo says he is honored to be considered among the elite by his fellow professionals, and he thanks them for their support. Last December, 6,426 NJ-licensed dentists from all over the state received an independent questionnaire in the mail on which they could voice their nominations. Measures such as unique ballot codes and dental license numbers were taken to prevent any duplication. From the 1,442 accepted ballots, votes were tallied and used to form a preliminary list that was eventually sent to a dentist-nominated professional review board for final approval. Dentists are not notified until after the list is finalized so that no advertising or campaigning occurs. Dr. Cuozzo says he looks forward to seeing what opportunities this recognition might bring, and he is excited to use it as motivation to consistently better himself as an orthodontist.
