Rebel Network Positioned to Lead Managed Cloud Hosting Sector

Cloudstack by Citrix System Used to Implement Hybrid Hosting

DEL MAR, Calif., July 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Diversified Holdings Corporation (Pink Sheets:ADHC) operating subsidiary Rebel Networks announced today that it has built a cloud platform as a service that can cover private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions for customers in a fully managed environment.

Rebel Networks has determined that its vision of simple control panel cloud management will make it a challenger to the larger cloud vendors within 12 to 18 months.

In 2011 and the first part of 2012, Rebel Networks created its fundamental infrastructure to provide a consultative approach to complex cloud solutions by using its Cloudstack by Citrix Systems to implement hybrid hosting that consists of Windows, Linux, Apple and Mobile solutions all in a seamless environment. This infrastructure is unique as it is more complex that other clouds such as Amazon, but the custom control panel front end is easier for business customers to deploy, manage and test.

Domenic Macchione, President & CEO, stated, "Rebel Networks as a company is obsessed in building a cloud platform that will be easy to use, for customers of all sizes and shapes as well as allow corporations flexible per usage billing similar to that of utilities."

Rebel Networks is one of the few providers in the managed hosting market to offer hybrid hosting capabilities using its solution. According to a Gartner report, "Most solutions for complex needs are hybrids, mixing different types of infrastructures to achieve cost-effectiveness, and to meet the customer's range of availability, performance, security and IT operations requirements." Rebel Networks has followed the guidance of the Gartner report to develop its cloud platform and supports fully hybrid clouds.

ABOUT CLOUD COMPUTING

Recent estimates by Merrill Lynch pegged the Cloud Computing Industry to generate over 160 billion in Revenues by the end of 2011. Cloud computing describes computation, software, data access, and storage solutions that do not require end-user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services. Parallels to this concept can be drawn with the electricity grid where end-users consume power resources without any necessary understanding of the component devices in the grid required to provide the service. Cloud computing is a natural evolution of the widespread adoption of virtualization, service-oriented architecture, autonomic and utility computing. Details are abstracted from end-users, who no longer have need for expertise in, or control over, the technology infrastructure "in the cloud" that supports them. Cloud computing describes a new supplement, consumption, and delivery model for services based on Internet protocols, and it typically involves provisioning of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources. It is a byproduct and consequence of the ease-of-access to remote computing sites provided by the Internet. This frequently takes the form of web-based tools or applications that users can access and use through a web browser as if it were a program installed locally on their own computer.
