FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 23, 2012 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today that its board of directors has elected Prabu Natarajan corporate vice president and treasurer, effective Jan. 1, 2013. Natarajan will report to James F. Palmer, corporate vice president and chief financial officer.

As treasurer, Natarajan will be responsible for all duties of the Corporate Treasury, including capital markets; capital structure; insurance and risk management; the execution of merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions; bank relationships; and cash management. He will replace Mark Caylor, who has been elected corporate vice president and president, Enterprise Shared Services at Northrop Grumman, effective Jan. 1, 2013.

Natarajan will continue to serve as vice president, Tax, and have responsibility for tax initiatives across the company, including the implementation of tax strategies; research of complex tax issues; compliance with all international, federal, state and local regulatory filings; analysis of tax legislation and provision of tax-consulting services to the company's business sectors.

Natarajan joined Northrop Grumman in 2011 as vice president, Tax, from The AES Corporation, where he worked for more than 10 years in positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to his work for AES, Natarajan worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC as a senior manager in their Global Tax Optimization Planning team.

Natarajan earned a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School, a Master of Laws degree from Queen's University School of Law, Canada, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Madras, India.
