PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Octopus Apollo VCT 3 plc announces that on 25 July 2012 the Company purchased for cancellation 900,000 shares of 10p each at a price of 76.1p per share.

The issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company is now 25,871,709.
