PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Octopus Apollo VCT 3 plc announces that on 31 July 2012 the Company purchased for cancellation 815,025 shares of 10p each at a price of 79.5p per share.

The issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company is now 25,056,684.
