Craig Morganson, CEO of Holiday Systems International and an ARDA Trustee member, was selected as the moderator for one of the educational sessions, "Eye On Mexico. Removing Barriers." The focus of this session was on Mexico's importance to the global economy, how Government Issued Travel Advisories and Government Sponsored Tourism Bills impact the bottom line, and what industry leaders have done and are doing to reverse the negative impact caused by misguided governmental action. Mr. Morganson said, "This is an important subject for all of us. Whether you do business in Mexico or not, chances are your customers are traveling to Mexico. Mexico is the number one destination for U.S. citizens. This, combined with Mexico's stable democracy, trade activity, oil production, among other factors, make Mexico a very important partner to the U.S. and global economy. Mexico is also home to some of world's most exciting entrepreneurs. If you're not leveraging opportunities within Mexico, you should be." Joining Mr. Morganson on the panel was Luis A. The session attracted one of the convention's largest audiences and was very well received. Many of the session's attendees approached Mr. Morganson and the other speakers wanting to know how to get involved and leverage Mexico better for their businesses.
