27th Apprehension of "Wanted by the CBSA" Individual


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 17, 2012) - The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the apprehension of Kemford Sebastian Durrant, who is featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.

Kemford Sebastian Durrant was apprehended on August 16 by the Toronto Police Services as a result of officers investigating a man exhibiting strange behaviour, in the Greater Toronto Area. Durrant, who is inadmissible to Canada for Canadian convictions of theft, mischief, possession of a narcotic substance, assault with intent to resist arrest, uttering threats and failure to comply with recognizance, is currently in CBSA detention.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 27 individuals in Canada. The CBSA has removed 19 of these individuals from Canada. Additionally, five individuals were located abroad.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
