- Publicationof a NotificationpursuanttoSection 27aGerman Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) -

On 23 August 2012, Dr. André Gerth, Germany, notified us pursuant to
Section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that his
voting rights in VITA 34 AG exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10% of
the voting rights on 21 August 2012 and amounted to 12.65% (383,000 voting
rights) as of that day.
In connection with the voting rights notification dated 21 August 2012, Dr.
Gerth on August 27, 2012, notified us pursuant to Section 27a German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) the following:
1. Objectives of the acquisition of voting rights (Section 27a para. 1
sentence 3 German Securities Trading Act)
- The investment aims at implementing strategic goals.
- Dr. Gerth does intend to gain further voting rights by means of
acquisition or otherwise within the next twelve months.
- Dr. Gerth insofar aims at influencing the appointment of members of the
adminstrative, governing and supervisory bodies of VITA 34 AG as he is a
member of the Management Board of VITA 34 AG himself. In addition, he will
exercise his voting rights in the general shareholders' meeting of the
company at supervisory board elections.
- Dr. Gerth does not intend to significantly change the capital structure
of the company, in particular with regard to the ratio of equity and debt
financing and the dividend policy.
2. Origin of the funds used (Section 27a para. 1 sentence 4 German
Securities Trading Act)
- The acquisition of the voting rights was financed with own funds.
