The board, which consists of pastors, church directors, authors and psychologists from across the country will provide direction and input regarding site content, products and features, as well as other strategic initiatives. Below are 2012-13 advisory board members and a brief summary of each of their backgrounds:

Gary Poole served as the key evangelism leader at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Ill., for more than 16 years. Currently, Poole is a strategist of creative outreach initiatives as well as the author of Seeker Small Groups, an award-winning book that provides a detailed blueprint for facilitating small group discussions that assist spiritual seekers with investigating Christianity. Poole lives in Denver and consults on evangelism at churches around the world. 

Clayton Coates is Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Coppell  in Coppell, Texas. Coates previously led the Single Adult Ministry at Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest, Calif., where he led more than 13,000 single adults in the greater Los Angeles area. 

Steve Komanapalli served as a Pastor at Saddleback Church for more than 10 years where he was also Special Assistant to Rick Warren. Currently, Komanapalli is Chief Relationship Officer and Managing Partner with a private equity firm in South Africa that will begin operations in North America under the new name Sequoia Global Resources. Komanapalli will be primarily focused on non-profit initiatives, working on church based projects.

Jenni Catron is Executive Director of Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tenn., a multi-site church where she leads the staff and oversees the ministry of its five campuses. Catron's passion is to lead well and inspire, equip and encourage others to do the same. 

Tre Reaume is a College/Young Adult Pastor at Victory Highway Wesleyan in New York. Tre recently celebrated two years of marriage with his wife, Miki, whom he met through ChristianMingle.com. Previously, Tre served as Young Adult Pastor for more than five years at Skyline Church in San Diego, Calif.

Dr. David Hawkins is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and author of more than 30 books including the best-selling, When Pleasing Others is Hurting You. Hawkins is Director of The Marriage Recovery Center, a speaker for the American Association of Christian Counselors, has written an Advice Column for Crosswalk.com and CBN.org for several years, and currently writes for believe.com as well.
