Q&A CONFERENCE CALL REGARDING
JUNE 30, 2012 QUARTER-END RESULTS

MARCH 31, 2012 NINE MONTHS FISCAL YEAR RESULTS
Solon, OH August 29, 2012 - Advanced Lighting Technologies, Inc. ("ADLT") announced today that it will hold a question and answer conference call for its financial results for the three months ended June 30, 2012 and nine month fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM (ET) on September 5, 2012. This question and answer conference call is being provided to our current and potential investors who were unable to participate in our previously scheduled earnings conference call held on August 9, 2012.
The dial-in information for the earnings call is available on the password protected Investor Relations portion of ADLT's website at http://www.adlt.com.
During the conference call, representatives of ADLT will discuss and answer one or more questions concerning ADLT's business and financial matters. ADLT posted its quarterly report for the three months ended June 30, 2012 on the password protected investor relations portion of ADLT's website on August 2, 2012. The annual report for the nine months fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 was also posted to ADLT's website on July 30, 2012. The quarterly and annual reports were furnished pursuant to the Indenture governing the 10.50% Senior Notes due 2019 issued by ADLT.
