Comcast, InsideView and the Detroit Pistons Select ePrize's Sales Contest Builder via salesforce.com's AppExchange

Gamification App and New Product Enhancements Drive Increase in Sales Staff Engagement Within Salesforce

Customers Tap Into the Power of Social, Mobile and Open Cloud Technologies to Transform Into Social Enterprises

PLEASANT RIDGE, MI--(Marketwire - Aug 30, 2012) - ePrize, the global leader in digital engagement, today announced that Comcast, Federal Signal, InsideView, Dominion Enterprises and Palace Sports and Entertainment (the Detroit Pistons) have deployed sales gamification app Sales Contest Builder via the AppExchange, the world's most popular marketplace for business apps.

Launched in September 2011, Sales Contest Builder is immediately available for test drive and deployment here on the AppExchange. The app enables companies to motivate or incentivize any behavior in the sales process by creating custom competitions and leaderboards, and then sharing real-time updates via email and Salesforce Chatter, the leading enterprise social network.

With the new client additions, Sales Contest Builder has seen significant adoption since launching its beta product last year. This growth can be attributed to strong client response to how easy the app is to use and its ability to help managers quickly motivate performance.

In addition to its new clients, Sales Contest Builder recently released the following new product updates:

  • "Catch the leader" and "On their heels" statistics that allow sales staff members to see how far one needs to go to move up the leaderboard
  • Ability to reward based on Cases and Custom Objects
  • Enhanced auditing and fraud prevention tools
  • The ability to run up to 20 different competitions concurrently in order to motivate different behaviors from different groups of people

"The beauty of Sales Contest Builder lies in its simplicity," said Bob Marsh, Sales Contest Builder general manager. "Salespeople are competitive by nature, and our app allows sales managers to tap into that competitive culture by creating competitions around whatever behavior they want to motivate. It's a big win for sales managers, enabling them to automatically monitor and motivate their teams to do everything from filling in needed fields in Salesforce to meeting daily sales call goals to scoring big sales."

"We set up what we want to reward, choose who participates and let the app do the rest of the work," said Dave Rewers, GVP of Sales for Fleet One. "The result has been increased sales, increased compliance and improved morale."

"Our goal is to deliver the broadest and richest set of business apps to our customers through the AppExchange marketplace, and Sales Contest Builder is a great example," said Mike Rosenbaum, senior vice president, AppExchange and Force.com Operations, salesforce.com. "Sales Contest Builder is a powerful way to incentivize and motivate sales teams and can be easily integrated into existing Salesforce environments."

Available on the AppExchange, Sales Contest Builder agreements include assistance with initial setup, training, ongoing support and access to feature enhancements and software upgrades as they become available.

About Sales Contest Builder
Powered by ePrize, Sales Contest Builder enables companies using Salesforce to incentivize and gamify any behavior in the sales process by creating custom competitions and leaderboards. The idea for the app was sparked by ePrize's own implementation of Salesforce within its sales organization. Drawing on more than 12 years of experience in motivating consumers through contests and rewards programs, ePrize immediately saw an opportunity to apply that expertise inside sales organizations to motivate key sales behaviors and adoption of Salesforce. Sales Contest Builder launched at the Dreamforce conference in September 2011.
