Kastle Systems, the Leading Provider of Managed Security, to Demonstrate PSIA Interoperability at ASIS 2012

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - Sep 11, 2012) - Emphasizing its commitment to developing standards-based security solutions, managed security leader Kastle Systems announced today it will participate in the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) demonstrations during ASIS 2012 on Tuesday, September 11.

The demonstrations showcase how PSIA standards make it easier to build robust security solutions in which a wide variety of systems and devices easily share information and intelligence. During the PSIA event, access control; intrusion detection; physical security information management; video cameras; storage and retrieval systems and more will interoperate using PSIA standards to carry out typical security functions.

"Kastle is excited to participate in the PSIA demonstration. This demo marks another important step for the market towards openness and standards," said Mohammad Soleimani, Kastle Systems Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer and PSIA Profile Compliance Working Group Chair. "It is our belief that these systems should be designed to work together -- this demo represents our ability to manage more systems for our clients."

About PSIA
The Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA), incorporated in March 2009, is the world's leading standards body addressing the need for interoperable systems and intelligence/data sharing in the security ecosystem and beyond. The international group has developed seven specifications to date that enable PSIA-compliant systems and products to interoperate on a plug-and-play basis to share information and intelligence. Such interoperability enhances the power of security systems, reduces product development time and lowers end users' total cost of ownership. PSIA members include leading manufacturers, consultants, integrators and end users committed to the adoption of IP-based standards through a truly democratic standards-setting process.
