The Ambit Group Expands Executive Team

Company Appoints Maurice Stewart and Bob Nunnally as Vice Presidents, Adds Significant Government Experience

RESTON, VA--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2012) - Ambit Group, LLC (Ambit) today announced two new key appointments to its executive team. Maurice (Mo) Stewart has joined the team as Vice President of Business Solutions and Bob Nunnally has been promoted within the company to Vice President. In his role as Vice President of Business Solutions, Stewart will be responsible for mentoring and leading the business development team, with a focus on sales, capture management, and proposal development. Nunnally's new role will include leading Ambit's delivery portfolio while continuing to oversee the company's work at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

"Ambit has expanded our government customer base significantly over the past few years," said Kimberley Hayes, President of Ambit. "As such, we required additional executive resources internally to help with day-to-day management requirements. We are excited to have Mo and Bob join our executive team. Both have extensive management experience and proven track records of success."

Stewart, a 2012 Federal 100 Award winner, will also be responsible for establishing corporate growth strategies, capturing government programs, and identifying future industry trends and opportunities. He brings with him more than 34 years of experience in the federal market having previously served as the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In this position, he was responsible for leading the Department of Veterans Affairs Transformation Supply Chain initiatives and providing policy and direction to over 4,600 acquisition and logistics professionals.

"Ambit's dedication to strategic planning and project delivery is something that sets the company apart from other firms in the federal market," said Stewart. "During my tenure in government, I had the opportunity to see the Ambit team in action. I am looking forward to joining Ambit and leveraging my leadership experience to further its success."

A highly decorated fighter pilot, Nunnally led organizational change management efforts in both the U.S. and abroad for the U.S. Air Force. He is being promoted from his Director position and will continue to manage Ambit's FCC contract, as well as oversee a new practice area -- strategic change. He will advance Ambit's fundamental capabilities while enhancing their strategic offerings to the federal market.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ambit, supporting interesting and challenging government programs," said Nunnally. "I appreciate the confidence the company has shown in my abilities with this promotion and look forward to helping the current executive team continue to grow the organization."
