HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 14, 2012) - Their actions have been tabloid fodder for nearly a decade, but on Monday, September 17, 2012, Dina and Michael Lohan get a chance to tell the story behind all the outrageous headlines when they each sit down for a revealing interview with Dr. Phil (check local listings).

The divorced parents of actress Lindsay Lohan speak to Dr. Phil separately with Dina in studio and Michael by way of satellite from Florida. While Dina seemed to deflect many of Dr. Phil's questions with vague answers, she did talk about the alleged abuse in her marriage that she claims began on the couple's honeymoon.

"What I thought was going to be a normal in-depth interview with a struggling single mom quickly turned into something else entirely," said Dr. Phil. 

In addition, Dr. Phil confronts Dina with Michael's allegations of thefts from Lindsay's purse. Dr. Phil also gives Michael a chance to respond to claims of abuse and questions about addiction problems. Michael even admits that he takes some responsibility for Lindsay being involved in drugs.

Also appearing on the show is a 17-year-old girl who says Michael Lohan is her father.
