Addnode Group acquires Spatial Technology's business

Addnode Group is today one of Sweden’s largest companies in geographic
information solutions (GIS). Spatial Technology AB ("Spatial Technology")
provides GIS solutions and has successfully developed its own GIS integration
platform. The acquisition strengthens the Group’s GIS and spatial information
system offering.
The acquired business with offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm has a turnover of
nearly M 10 SEK and has clients in both the public and private sectors. Spatial
Technology develops and sells the product family “Independent Spatial Management
(ISM)”. ISM integrates data between spatial databases and all leading GIS / CAD
vendors with compatibility between data, metadata, users, design, mapping and
applications.

Spatial Technology is already a partner of several of Addnode Group companies,
including Cartesia, Tekis and Cad-Q.

“Addnode Group is one of Sweden’s largest companies in GIS. The acquisition of
Spatial Technology underlines our commitment to take responsibility for the
geospatial market development”, says Staffan Hanstorp, President and CEO of
Addnode Group AB.

Spatial Technology will be integrated into Addnode Group’s subsidiary Cartesia.

”The acquisition increases customer value in our current offerings and
strengthen our ability to meet customers’ growing needs. With ISM, combined with
Cartesia concept, Solen, we have a more complete range of spatial database
solutions and powerful data integration. We have a strong market presence and
this shows our clear intention to be our customers’ GIS Partner,” says Lennart
Nilsson, CEO of Cartesia.

”This gives us the opportunity to work further and become even better at what we
do best today - to work with our customers in the implementation, development
and continuous improvement of the business with the help of GIS,” says Thomas
Olsson, founder of Spatial Technology, who will, after the acquisition, continue
his work at Cartesia.

The acquisition is conditional and is implemented as a so-called acquisition of
assets. Addnode Group will consolidate operations as of 1 October 2012. The
parties have agreed not to disclose any details about the transaction.
