| IT - Genium INET – Fixed Income – First North Bond Market |
NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and Copenhagen will launch a new fixed income market segment, First North Bond Market, on its First North MTF. The preliminary launch date for the Swedish market is November 8, 2012. It will be available for testing in Genium INET Ext 3 from September 26.
The trading set-up on First North Bond Market will be identical to the current set-up for the Main Market and trading will be subject to the same rules. All Fixed Income members and equity members with access to the retail markets Lottery Bonds, Structured Products and Retail Corporate Bonds on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and Fixed Income members in Copenhagen will have trading rights on First North Bond Market. Listing rules are simplified in relation to the main market. Issuers will have increased flexibility in regards of their accounting principle. Issuers are not required to publish financial history and have the opportunity not to publish a prospectus as long as they provide a company description. The rules for disclosure of information are to a great extent the same as the rules for the regulated market. First North Bond Market is particularly aimed at small and medium sized companies which do not meet the requirements for listing at the main market.
