Sauer Energy Installs WindChargers(TM) on New Headquarters

CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 2, 2012) - Sauer Energy Inc. ("Sauer") (OTCBB: SENY), developer of the patented WindCharger™ brand vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT), has installed two of its WindChargers™ units on the roof of their new headquarters. The installation represents a visual display of Sauer's commitment to making wind energy a viable and attainable way individuals can make a difference. The installation required custom bracketry to accommodate adaptability and demonstrates the versatile compatibility available for custom industrial applications.

The WindCharger™ represents a new era in small-scale residential renewable energy. It was designed as a modular component, with simplified installation and a footprint of about one square yard on an average roof. The VAWT design has a direct drive generator for maximum efficiency.

The WindCharger™ design exhibits maximum capture and optimum use of the wind with a devotion to high environmental standards. This marks a milestone for clean renewable energy production's continued success from an American made energy product.

The absence of yoke, gears and complex slip rings results in excellent reliability and virtually no maintenance. The WindCharger™ design and its features have a considerable advantage over other renewable systems which is reflected in its performance.

"We believe, wholeheartedly, that the WindCharger™ can be financially successful, while being socially responsible and environmentally sensitive at all times. Reliability is the cornerstone of our design.

"The WindCharger™ is currently being tested in Mexico by ENRCOM for use on cell phone towers in Mexico, Central and South America. All indications so far have been very promising.

"Our plan is to derive a good portion of power consumed from the wind. Furthermore, these and future installations indicate our continued dedication to making wind energy commonplace everywhere," commented Dieter Sauer, CEO and President of Sauer Energy Inc.
