Hip Hop Hall of Fame to Kick-Off Memorabilia & Collectible Artifacts Campaign for Museum Exhibits in 2013

To Partner With Record Labels, Icons & Pioneer MC's, DJs, Graffiti Artists, B-Boys/Girls, and Historians to Expand Its Collection


NEW YORK, Oct. 4, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hip Hop Hall of Fame is making preparations to kick-off its official Memorabilia & Collectible Artifacts National and International Campaign for the New York City Museum in 2013. The Hall will reach out and partner with major and independent Record Labels of the past and present who have made historic contributions to the development, expansion, and commercialization of Hip Hop Music & Culture since the 1970s.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame seeks to expand its existing collection of photos, flyers, fashions, and artifacts for major exhibits in its museum. A Nationwide and International invitation will also be sent out to Hip Hop Icons and Pioneer MC's, DJs, Graffiti Artists, B-Boys/Girls, Fashion, Business, and Historical Documentarians to donate, submit, and archive their Memorabilia and Collectibles with the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum. "This is an opportunity for those contributors to have their submissions, and legacies documented and preserved in the World's First and only Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum. All Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV show Inductees that first aired on BET Cable Network in the 90s will be enshrined in the facility annually," stated JT Thompson, Creator and Executive Producer.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame will include a Museum, Retail Gift Shop, Restaurant, Arcade, Concert Lounge, Television Studios, Marquee, Community and Corporate rooms. It is expected to serve over 650,000 visitors per year, provide up to 300 jobs, and generate upwards of $350M in socio-economic impact for New York City. "The museum serves a very unique targeted global audience that consist of a youth demographic ages 12-34, and their families ages 25-55 who spend and influence over $450 Billion per year on products, services, and technology," according to Easy AD, Hip Hop Icon of the Legendary Cold Crush Brothers.
