LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 5, 2012) - "ROCK THE WALK LA," organized by Team Kiku, will take place at The Mint in Los Angeles on October 7th with a benefit concert for AIDS Project LA and AIDS Walk LA. 

Hosted by musician, actor, and comedian Hal Sparks, and producer and actress Max Wasa, Rock The Walk LA features Zero 1 featuring Hal Sparks, and includes performances by Peligro featuring DH from the Dead Kennedys, Kitten Kuroi, and other musical acts, along with community speakers and celebrity guests in attendance.

Rock The Walk LA was created by Team Kiku #2221, a group of artists, musicians and friends. Team Kiku has been raising money to combat HIV/AIDS and help those living with HIV/AIDS throughout Southern California since 2009. Sunday's event includes a red carpet and cocktail hour starting at 6:30pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 in advance at www.rockthewalkla.com, or $25 at the door. Proceeds from Rock The Walk LA benefit AIDS Project LA and AIDS Walk LA.

It's our hope that this concert can generate enough proceeds to help AIDS Project LA with HIV/AIDS education, and housing, food, medicine, and resources to help those affected by HIV/AIDS and their families."
