ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - Oct 5, 2012) -  Ewire -- Steve Washburn, CEO of global environmental and health sciences consultancy ENVIRON, has announced that Frank Marrazza, formerly North American Operations Director, has been named North American Division President. Ron Hutchens, who had been the North American Division President since 2006, recently assumed the role of ENVIRON's Chief Global Development Officer.

Marrazza has been with ENVIRON for over 28 years. A civil engineer with varied environmental consulting experience, his practice over the last decade has focused on international environmental due diligence assignments on behalf of major private equity institutions and law firms. According to Marrazza, "Over nearly three decades, I have witnessed our two original offices and initial service mix of Toxicology & Risk Assessment, Occupational Health & Safety, Merger & Acquisition Due Diligence, and Litigation & Regulatory Support evolve to encompass more than 25 interrelated technical, scientific and engineering services." These services are provided by a seamless network of more than 1000 professionals serving clients from 85 offices in 19 countries -- 50 of those offices in North America. Says Marrazza, "I hope to build on this foundation of excellence and sustainable growth, so that we continue our tradition of helping clients in the region to manage their most challenging environmental, health and safety issues."

With a primary focus on global firm development, Hutchens will ensure that the firm's strategic and technical expertise is available in geographies where ENVIRON clients have operations or require support -- through organic growth, strategic alliance or acquisition. He has over 40 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering. Hutchens joined the firm in 1997 and became North American Division President in 2006. During his tenure as President, the Division doubled in size to over 700 consultants.

Founded in 1982, ENVIRON is a global, employee-owned environmental and health sciences consultancy.
