Higginbotham brings 20 years of relevant industry experience to his new role, having previously served as founding executive director of TCT Mobile/Alcatel One Touch, North America. Alcatel One Touch is now the world's seventh largest mobile device OEM and the fastest growing OEM in the US.

Higginbotham's extensive experience in leading start-ups has shown proven results in progressing companies into leaders within their respective industries. Prior to his tenure at Alcatel One Touch, Higginbotham served as executive vice president of Quality One Wireless, now a leading supplier of mobile devices and services. He also held a previous role as founding CEO of Handoff Wireless, one of the first companies to launch a mobile device buy-back, refurbish and recycling program in 2001. Higginbotham's career achievements also include multiple roles where he attained up to 750 percent of quota and received numerous awards, including the coveted Spirit of Excellence Award at BellSouth Mobility, which was later acquired by SBC, creating Cingular, and now AT&T Wireless.
