Liquipel(TM) Announces New President Rayford Higginbotham

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 9, 2012) - Liquipel™, the first company to introduce nano-coating, Watersafe™ technology direct to consumers' mobile devices, today announced the appointment of Rayford Higginbotham as the new president and member of the executive committee, effective as of Oct. 8, 2012. Higginbotham brings 20 years of relevant industry experience to his new role, having previously served as founding executive director of TCT Mobile/Alcatel One Touch, North America. Alcatel One Touch is now the world's seventh largest mobile device OEM and the fastest growing OEM in the US.

He also held a previous role as founding CEO of Handoff Wireless, one of the first companies to launch a mobile device buy-back, refurbish and recycling program in 2001. Higginbotham's career achievements also include multiple roles where he attained up to 750 percent of quota and received numerous awards, including the coveted Spirit of Excellence Award at BellSouth Mobility, which was later acquired by SBC, creating Cingular, and now AT&T Wireless.
