MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2012) - During the Back-to-school period, Cogeco Cable's (TSX:CCA) digital customers, in Québec and in Ontario, are guaranteed not to miss a single thing on their favourite shows thanks to Cogeco new Whole Home DVR service. The Whole Home DVR allows you to program and record shows from any connected TV in your home, to take advantage of and share recorded content between all connected TVs and to stop viewing a recorded show in one room, and pick it up where you left off in another.

Whole Home DVR service is based on a unique data storage mechanism, housed in a central data network system. In other words, this means that all recorded content is accessible via any compatible HD receiver in your home. Customers will therefore be able to watch, record and pause live TV or their recorded shows, from any connected TV in their home.

This HD television solution is ideal for customers who have several television sets in their home and for those with varied viewing patterns. The Whole Home DVR supports up to three television sets.

The Whole Home DVR is capable of recording up to six HD shows simultaneously, while three other HD recordings can be played (for viewing only). The same recording can be viewed by all the televisions at once (up to a maximum of 3 TVs).
