CanaDream Appoints New Director

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2012) - Mr. Blaine Nicholson, Chairman of CanaDream Corporation (TSX VENTURE:CDN), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alfred Sailer to the Board of Directors of the Company. Pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.

Most recently, Alfred held the position of Managing Director, Investment Banking at AltaCorp Capital Inc., a Calgary-based investment dealer. Prior to joining AltaCorp Capital in 2011, Alfred was Vice President, Investment Banking at Acumen Capital Partners from 1996 to 2010. During his sixteen years of investment banking, Alfred acted in an advisory capacity to numerous private and publicly listed companies. He directly managed and co-managed over $5 billion in equity financings.

Alfred holds a BSc in Pharmacy (with distinction) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, both from the University of Alberta. In 1996 he received his MBA (Finance) from the University of Calgary. In 2007, Alfred completed an Executive Leader Program on Corporate Governance at Harvard Business School. He has served as a director of Science Alberta Foundation, founding director of BioAlberta, member of the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research's Forefront Investment Committee, and on University Technologies International Advisory Council.
