Maintal, 02 November 2012 - On the basis of the preliminary sales figures
for October 2012 and taking into account the weakening and increasingly
intransparent economic development in Europe NORMA Group AG, Maintal (ISIN
DE 000A1H8BV3 / WKN A1H8BV, 'NORMA Group') adjusts its guidance for the
financial year 2012 to a sales growth of approximately 1% plus
approximately EUR 13 million sales from acquisitions (previous guidance 3%
to 6% plus EUR 13 million from acquisitions).
Therefore, the EBITA Margin (earnings before interest, taxes and
amortisation) for the financial year will presumably be approximately 17.0%
(previous guidance at least on par with the two previous years (17.4% and
17.7%)).

NORMA Group will publish its figures for the third quarter 2012 as planned
on 13 November 2012. Based on preliminary calculations, sales in the third
quarter 2012 amounted to around EUR 150 million, including EUR 5 million
from acquisitions. Based on preliminary calculations the EBITA amounted in
the third quarter 2012 to around 17.2% of group sales of the quarter.
