Sahara Energy Ltd. Provides Corporate Update

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 6, 2012) - Sahara Energy Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SAH) ("Sahara") is pleased to announce the election of Fan (Rose) Gong of North York, Ontario as a director of Sahara. Ms. Gong has nine years' experience in the investment banking and financial services industries. Most recently, she was manager of Global Financial Services for Deloitte in Beijing. Ms. Gong holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University (United Kingdom) and a Masters degree in Finance from Cambridge University (United Kingdom).

Also approved at Sahara's annual shareholders meeting on November 5, 2012 was the reduction of the exercise price of options to acquire an aggregate of 3.8 million common shares to $0.10 per share. The re-priced options were originally granted at exercise prices of $0.21 and $0.15, to certain directors and officers.
