DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l'innovation du Québec (ADRIQ) has been granted financial assistance to help stimulate innovation and improve the competitiveness of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) it represents.

"By funding this project of the Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l'innovation du Québec, our government is demonstrating its firm commitment to promoting economic growth centred, in particular, on innovation," said Minister Lebel.

This contribution from the Government of Canada will enable the businesses the association represents to benefit from innovation management services and improve their capacity for managing their research and development activities.

The Réseau Conseil en Technologie et en innovation (RCTi), a division of ADRIQ, is dedicated to fostering the long-term development of innovative SMEs and helping them make well-informed business and technological decisions. To that end, the RCTi organizes meetings, offers consulting services and provides businesses with the tools they need to remain competitive in their markets and ensure their growth.
