Join us Monday December 3rd, when the 27th annual CBC Calgary Suncor Energy Food Bank Drive kicks off, with a build rather than a bang! Why? 'Cause we're gonna have some fun!

In the days and weeks to come there will be plenty of opportunity to support this annual campaign; raising funds and awareness for the Calgary Food Bank while we work together to create a city without hunger…

Calgary Carol Festival

It doesn't feel like the holiday season without the sound of carollers. Let the voices of dozens of Calgary area choirs warm your heart. Admission is free but Food Bank volunteers will be on site to accept donations of food or funds.

HolidayStruction

Teams from Brookfield, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Suncor Energy will go head to head to craft a holiday-themed creation out of canned food. All food items used for HolidayStruction will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank post campaign.

Jam the Van

It's a daunting task but CBC Calgary's The Homestretch is up for the challenge: fill a Purolator truck with non-perishable food donations for the Calgary Food Bank. In a new twist this year, we'll be encouraging donors to drop off turkeys too! Doug Dirks, Jenny Howe and the rest of The Homestretch crew will broadcast live from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
