The company’s partner, Good Technology, has launched its Good Vault™ app, which
can be used with Precise Biometrics’ Tactivo™ Smart Card & Fingerprint Reader
for the iPhone®. Good Vault extends strong two-factor authentication and
Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) email signing and
encryption to Good for Enterprise™ to enhance data protection.
Tactivo Smart Card & Fingerprint Reader is part of the Good Vault solution,
which is the first product built on the newly introduced Good Trust™ mobile
identity and access management (IAM) platform. Good Vault extends strong two
-factor authentication and S/MIME security to Good’s award-winning Good for
Enterprise™ email application.

Leveraging Good Vault, highly regulated organizations in the government,
healthcare and financial services industries can more effectively battle
escalating mobile security threats while meeting compliance regulations. The new
solution was unveiled at the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit
taking place December 3-5, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Good Vault leverages Tactivo to provide strong authentication when using a smart
card for access to Good for Enterprise, enabling the encryption and signing of
mobile email messages to ensure privacy and integrity.

of use. Tactivo adds a smart card reader and fingerprint sensor to the iOS
devices in the form of a casing that maintains the Apple aesthetic and adds
minimally to the device footprint and weight. Easy and convenient, users can
also charge and synchronize the device without removing Tactivo.
