Transaction in Own Shares
Rathbone Brother Plc (the "Company") announces that on 7 December 2012 it purchased 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of £12.00 per share in accordance with the authority granted to it by shareholders at its Annual General Meeting. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 100,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 45,854,071 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
