Government of Canada Lends Financial Support to PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions Ltd

RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions (PG SCF) Ltd has been granted financial assistance to adapt and market a line of higher performance software.

"By investing in the improvement and commercialization of PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions software, the Government of Canada is showing proof once again of its determination to do what is needed to boost the growth potential of businesses," says Minister Lebel.

PG Corporate and Forestry Solutions designs and develops management tools for sawmills, forestry cooperatives, forest entrepreneurs and wood processing companies. These computer tools, which are integrated into accounting software, are intended to help clients more effectively manage and analyze their operations. They are also used to produce financial statements.

To better meet the needs of its clients, PG SCF has already carried out research and development on a new platform to support the software suite. Its commercialization will follow in the coming months in preparation for the entry into force of Quebec's new forest regime.

This financial support, granted in the form of a $435,507 repayable contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
