NASDAQ OMX Genium INET version 0222 will go live on March 25th, 2013.
This release will focus on the upcoming Collateral Management Services (CMS) but will also have changes that may affect other OMnet API and FIX users. This release is mandatory for all members and ISVs that develop clearing applications for the Nordic Derivatives and Fixed Income markets. A mandatory release of Clearing Workstation 1 will also be available closer to go-live in March.

The European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) will introduce mandatory changes to the derivatives market.

Genium INET Nordic Derivatives:
Pre-trade Risk Management
NASDAQ OMX will provide members with the ability to facilitate pre-trade protection on Genium INET. Using PRM, members can have order level control of their trading activity and the trading activity of their clients and customers including prevention of potentially erroneous transactions. PRM is flexible, using a set of parameters to determine if the order should be allowed into the market.
Order Price Limits
A fat finger Price Check will be provided market wide and compares price instructions on incoming orders against a reference price. If the order deviate more than a configured parameter, the order will be rejected before it can execute.
Query Market Maker obligations
NASDAQ OMX will provide the Market Maker obligations via the API in order to facilitate the configuration set up when there are changes the Market Maker obligations.
Genium INET Fixed Income:
NASDAQ OMX will implement technical support for single currency Basis Swaps in the 0222 release.
Genium INET Commodities:
NASDAQ OMX Commodities will launch new instruments and improvements to existing products, further details will be provided in due course.
External Test System:
It will be possible to test new functionalities and changes in our Genium INET External Test System 2 (Ext2). All user accounts that existed in Ext2 for the Genium INET v0220 project remains but trades and other clearing data have been flushed.
External Test system 2 will be available starting December 17th with trading only functionality. Ext2 will be expanded with clearing functionality and custody system by the end of January 2013.
