Riga, Latvia, 2012-12-14 17:42 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On December 14, 2012 a number of Latvian media published article with reference to the French news site regarding the fact that the company France Offshore is under investigation in France in respect of tax fraud.
In this regard it has been said that the charges are brought against "one of the Latvian bank and its representative." Due to the fact that in press reports, reference is made to France Offshore promotional materials, where Rietumu Bank is shown in video about Latvia, we receive questions from journalists about this situation.
In this context we announce that up to date no charges or complaints from the competent authorities of France to the Bank have been reported. As part of the investigation the Bank's employee was interrogated.
