Echo Global Logistics Announces Appointment of Julie Knudson to Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Ms. Knudson Leveraging Background in Technology and Services to Develop Echo Global Logistics' Talent Base and Enable Long-Term Growth

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Dec 18, 2012) - Echo Global Logistics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECHO), a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management services, announced today the appointment of Julie Knudson to the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Ms. Knudson previously led human resources for satellite imagery provider DigitalGlobe. Prior to her time with DigitalGlobe, Ms. Knudson served with the William J. Clinton Foundation in Rwanda, an organization created by the former President to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment. She also has senior HR leadership experience at a variety of service and technology firms, including YesMail, Accenture, Navitaire, and Peterson Consulting.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Ms. Knudson received a Sloan Master's degree from the London Business School.
